In 2009, Money Mastery Toastmasters Club had just 16 members. Most clubs in that position fold quietly. We chose to build instead.
Every chapter of this club's growth has been deliberate, planned, and achieved. Here is the full story.
Achieved 2014
A 5-year plan to grow from 16 members beyond 35 and restore the club's strength. By 2014, we had done exactly that. Members and guests raised pink champagne to celebrate; not just the numbers, but what they represented. A healthier, stronger, more purposeful club.

Achieved 2024
After Pink Vision 35, we set out to become the premium Toastmasters club in Singapore. The Rolex of watches. The Rolls Royce of cars. And the Toastmasters club in town of all Toastmasters clubs. We called it Blue Ocean Corals. Every target was met.
Now
20 Active Mentors by 2030. We proved we could grow in size. We proved we could become premium. Now, we grow in depth. Read why this matters.
Not because of luck. Because members chose to build with intention.
Now, as we step into a new term on 1 July 2026, we see the next opportunity clearly.
The honest conversation
Club Mission
"Dedicated mentoring in the mastery of public speaking and leadership in a warm and vibrant family."
For years, we have lived the second half of that mission beautifully. MMTMC is known for its warmth, its energy, its sense of family. Our community is genuinely one of our greatest strengths.
But here is something worth sitting with.
Today, more than 70% of the experience a new member encounters during onboarding is about our vibrant community, our friendships, and our larger stage presence. Very little speaks to what the first half of our mission promises: dedicated mentoring and the mastery of the craft.
Most new members join MMTMC because of who we are socially. Very few walk through the door because they clearly see us as a place of structured mentoring and intentional mastery-building.
That is the gap.
The next five years are about closing that gap. Not by walking away from our warmth, but by returning to the full strength of who we have always meant to be.
The commitment
These are not titles. They are not ceremony. They are the pillars of the club.
Active mentors are the members who guide newer members through their speaking journey, who raise the standard of evaluations, who strengthen continuity across terms, and who ensure that every member who joins MMTMC does not just find a community, but finds someone genuinely invested in their growth.

The plan
Vision 2030 will be rolled out in four deliberate stages. Each stage builds on the one before it. The sequencing is intentional: context first, then structure, then recognition, then governance.
Now · Foundation Year 2026
Before any new system or pathway is introduced, members need to understand the full picture. Why is the club evolving? Where are we headed? What kind of future are we building together? This is Stage 1. The announcement you are reading right now. The new term beginning 1 July 2026 is our foundation year. What we establish in this term will shape the next four years.
Coming next
We will introduce clearly defined pathways and prerequisites for members who wish to serve in leadership roles or become club mentors. Application forms will go live at this stage. Service at MMTMC is a responsibility, not just a title. The framework will reflect that.
Ahead
We will strengthen how the club recognises those who actively contribute through mentoring and service. Incentives are positioned as recognition for active participation, not as a reason to apply. The order matters.
AGM, June 2026 (current term)
We will formalise objective, behaviour-based standards to protect the club's culture, operations, and long-term health. This ensures that the MMTMC standard is upheld by everyone, and that the club is even stronger a decade from now.

Every strong chapter in this club's history was built because members chose to step forward. Vision 2030 is no different.

Building the next era together
We have grown because members cared enough to build with purpose, term after term, year after year.
Pink Vision 35 proved we could grow in size. Blue Ocean Corals proved we could become the premium club. Vision 2030 is our commitment to grow in depth.
A stronger mentoring culture will not only produce better speakers and better leaders. It will produce a club that is still vibrant, still purposeful, and still building, well beyond 2030.
