It is where leadership gets tested in the real world.
You are not managing a small hobby club with light expectations. You are stepping into a premium, high-performance environment with 100+ members, strong brand expectations, high operating standards, and one of the most active recruitment engines in the Toastmasters circle.
If you want a leadership title that looks nice on paper, there are easier places to find one. If you want to sharpen your judgment, influence, execution, and commercial instincts in an environment that feels closer to running an events business than a social club, this is your arena.

Seven roles · up to fifteen seats
Each role is a different muscle. Read them all. The one that pulls at you is usually the one you are ready to grow into.
Because MMTMC runs at 100+ members, several seats are filled by co-leads. We typically appoint 2 to 3 VPEs, VPMs, VPPRs, and SAAs in a given term, which means an EXCO team of up to fifteen. You will have peers in your role, not just under you. Less lonely. Faster learning. More leverage.
President
The Custodian of the Vision · CEO
Set the tone. Align the team. Drive the club forward.
The President is not just chairing meetings. You set the standard, align the EXCO, resolve tensions, and keep the team focused on outcomes that matter. This role is for members who want to practice real executive leadership: making decisions, leading senior peers, and influencing without authority.
You will grow instrategic leadership, executive presence, decision-making, influence, and culture building.
Vice President Education
The Programme Architect · COO
Design the product. Shape the member experience.
At MMTMC, the VPE is more than a scheduler. You are effectively the Head of Programme and Learning Experience. You shape meeting quality, speaking opportunities, role allocation, and learning progression. If the programme is strong, members grow. If it is flat, everything else suffers.
You will grow inprogramme strategy, standards management, talent development, and creating experiences people remember.
Vice President Membership
The Growth Lead · Sales Director
Own growth. Build the pipeline. Convert interest into commitment.
One of the most commercially exciting roles in MMTMC. The VPM is not merely tracking sign-ups. You lead recruitment, conversion, onboarding, and member retention in a club where guest experience and premium positioning matter. If you enjoy people, persuasion, and growth strategy, this is your battlefield.
You will grow insales-minded communication, relationship building, conversion strategy, onboarding systems, and member engagement.
Vice President Public Relations
The Brand Voice · CMO
Be the voice of the brand. Fill the room. Shape perception.
VPPR is not about posting for the sake of posting. It is about strategic visibility. You tell the story of the club, attract the right audience, amplify the premium experience, and support guest flow into our meetings and events. Branding, positioning, social media judgment, and audience psychology all come together here.
You will grow inbranding, messaging, content strategy, promotion, audience-building, and reputation management.
Treasurer
The Fiscal Operator · CFO
Run the economics. Make excellence sustainable.
In many clubs, the Treasurer just records numbers. At MMTMC, the Treasurer thinks like an operator. Because our fees, expectations, and overheads are real, this role is about financial stewardship with business awareness. You keep the club healthy, disciplined, and transparent while supporting the premium experience members can feel.
You will grow inbudgeting, financial governance, commercial thinking, accountability, and strategic resource allocation.
Secretary
The Nerve Centre · Chief of Staff
Build the system behind the momentum.
Strong clubs do not run on charisma alone. They run on clarity, documentation, and follow-through. The Secretary keeps records sharp, communication clear, and decisions properly tracked so the team executes with less confusion and more momentum. This role is powerful for members who want to develop precision, reliability, and cross-functional coordination.
You will grow inorganisational management, communication discipline, governance support, and operational clarity.
Sergeant at Arms
The Experience Owner · Director of Operations
Own the stage. Control the environment. Deliver the experience.
At MMTMC, the SAA is not just logistics. You manage the physical experience members and guests walk into. Room setup, flow, hospitality, readiness, atmosphere, and smooth execution all shape how premium the meeting feels. The best SAAs understand: details are not small. Details are the experience.
You will grow inevent management, operational excellence, anticipation, hospitality leadership, and calm execution.

And if EXCO is not your moment yet, that is welcome too. There are many ways to carry the Purple Vision 2030 forward: through mentoring, through speaking, through showing up for the room. EXCO is one path of many. Choose the one that stretches you most this year.

You will not be doing this alone. Every incoming EXCO member steps into co-leads in your role (most seats run 2 to 3 deep), a wider EXCO team of up to fifteen, the Purple Vision 2030 framework, and direct support from seven Club Advisors assigned to your respective role: current and past leaders who have carried these seats before and know exactly what the season ahead looks like. The standard is high. The backup is real.
